With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Chale in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabino Irastorza saved Itapeby AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Malvinchester Utd's Bernardo Piñero got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Malvinchester Utd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itapeby AFC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Goren Manglano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinchester Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Goren Manglano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabino Irastorza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Baldes to strike the kick off in the second half.
