With a little luck, Aguirre AFC's Cutberto Loranca got control of the ball when Muno Nuevo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baiona Cortez came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguirre AFC's Bakar Antuñano. But to his dismay, Bakar Antuñano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 17th match minute, Montes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macias Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Bakar Antuñano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Baiona Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguirre AFC. In the 27th minute, Muno Nuevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Celedonio Olazagoitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguirre AFC's Cutberto Loranca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cutberto Loranca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Olazagoitia in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Bakar Antuñano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montes AFC's Baiona Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Olazagoitia to strike the kick off in the second half. If Muno Nuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Osoitz Lombraña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Muno Nuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cutberto Loranca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Aguirre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sindo Cañizares to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Aguirre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Cismado. After a defensive mix-up in Aguirre AFC's zone, Muno Nuevo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cutberto Loranca came out of the goal and Muno Nuevo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montes AFC's Baiona Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Montes AFC from getting a goal against them. After 69 played minutes Montes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Macias Sousa. Veronica Argüelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aguirre AFC booed when Montes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macias Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, one of Montes AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Baiona Cortez, was totally fooled by Aguirre AFC's Anacleto Cesura, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Montes AFC's Veremundo Ferreiras got a free kick in the 80th minute. A well done corner resulted in Bakar Antuñano drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Montes AFC's goalkeeper. The audience was convinced that Muno Nuevo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cutberto Loranca was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Muno Nuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 100th minute, Bakar Antuñano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aguirre AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
