Donostia Piñan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igon Chinchetru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Bifurcacion's Igon Chinchetru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Favila Oporto in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Favila Oporto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igon Chinchetru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Basilio Acipreste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bifurcacion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Acipreste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bifurcacion getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Severiano Bermeo hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Favila Oporto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igon Chinchetru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igon Chinchetru made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Donostia Piñan sent off a good shot on target. Favila Oporto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igon Chinchetru having to interfere. When Bifurcacion's Iruinea Carrion in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lapuente AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Donostia Piñan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Bifurcacion got a freekick which was hit by Angel Aballe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Favila Oporto in the 32nd minute of play forced Bifurcacion's goalkeeper Igon Chinchetru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igon Chinchetru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Favila Oporto in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 minutes, Xavon Poncelas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapuente AFC and the Bifurcacion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Lapuente AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xavon Poncelas. 45 minutes into the match, Lapuente AFC's Favila Oporto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igon Chinchetru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iruinea Carrion in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Favila Oporto made the kick off in the second half. Xeromo Mijares hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Marco Quintanilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Acipreste in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Teofilo Barcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iruinea Carrion in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Quintanilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donostia Piñan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Favila Oporto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donostia Piñan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Lapuente AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Barcia to maneuver through the defense. Iruinea Carrion might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Quintanilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iruinea Carrion ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd match minute, Lapuente AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Barcia to maneuver through the defense. Iruinea Carrion struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Marco Quintanilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bifurcacion. Iruinea Carrion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marco Quintanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igon Chinchetru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Favila Oporto in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute Iruinea Carrion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donostia Piñan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igon Chinchetru having to interfere. Bifurcacion's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
