Rafael Alcain might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vimaro Fias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Alcain ran back to his position shaking his head. Fidencio Almandoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rafael Alcain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vimaro Fias was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luzaide Arrocha got free with Santiago Socorro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Artilleros AFC booed when Itapeby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iaki Bustelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Artilleros AFC's Caitano Repuente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Socorro. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 38th minute Rafael Alcain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vimaro Fias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Artilleros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Conejero to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidencio Almandoz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vimaro Fias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Fidencio Almandoz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vimaro Fias. Luzaide Arrocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Santiago Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Alcain was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Artilleros AFC's Beltran Angelo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rafael Alcain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Fidencio Almandoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fidencio Almandoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidencio Almandoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vimaro Fias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Miguel Conejero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artilleros AFC and the Itapeby AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Artilleros AFC's zone, Fidencio Almandoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vimaro Fias came out of the goal and Fidencio Almandoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, Artilleros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Llamas to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Alcain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Caitano Repuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidencio Almandoz got free with Vimaro Fias in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luzaide Arrocha got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Santiago Socorro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Luzaide Arrocha came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Artilleros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luzaide Arrocha couldn't finish the play. Rafael Alcain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Fias having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Artilleros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Alcain came free, but Vimaro Fias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artilleros AFC's Vimaro Fias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Almandoz in the 97th minute of play. Itapeby AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Artilleros AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
