The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Itapeby AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Galindo Aedo came free, but Santiago Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mede Toralino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Alcain, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mede Toralino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Alcain in the 11th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Itapeby AFC's Fidencio Almandoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mede Toralino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 21st minute Rafael Alcain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mede Toralino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Alcain in the 23rd minute of play forced Delaval F.C.'s goalkeeper Mede Toralino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brion Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Rafael Alcain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delaval F.C.'s Mede Toralino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Alcain in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mede Toralino saved Delaval F.C. from getting behind. When Rafael Alcain came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Itapeby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Alcain couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Alcain in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mede Toralino saved Delaval F.C. from getting behind. When Rafael Alcain, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mede Toralino was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leheren Leiva made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Delaval F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Alcain came free, but Mede Toralino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mede Toralino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Alcain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Delaval F.C.'s Odilon Trigo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fidencio Almandoz scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mede Toralino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Rafael Alcain made a precise shot to the right of Mede Toralino. Delaval F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Leheren Leiva came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Delaval F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leheren Leiva couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Alcain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itapeby AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Delaval F.C. for a fine match.
