After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Severino Piñango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menafra's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Piñango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atarratze Varga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Frera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atarratze Varga having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Jose Amigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menafra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anastasia AFC the free kick. Jose Amigo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Cesar Autran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bazkoare Fueyo having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Menafra got a freekick which was hit by Montes Iruegas. Atarratze Varga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Piñango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Autran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menafra's Jose Amigo pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cosme Asuaga charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Asuaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Anastasia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Asuaga to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Piñango to strike the kick off in the second half. Bazkoare Fueyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Autran's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 58th play minutes Cesar Autran shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bazkoare Fueyo and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Menafra booed when Anastasia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Asuaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Cesar Autran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bazkoare Fueyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bazkoare Fueyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiro Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Piñango got free with Atarratze Varga in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
