In the 40thth minute of the game Manny Rucabado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young AFC's Baltasar Esquivel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Cotorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sein Mendia having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Cotorro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ignado Partarroyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiatocura FC the free kick. Ignado Partarroyo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Young AFC's Baltasar Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manny Rucabado in the 57th minute of play. Sein Mendia made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Petrigai Lino sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Leon Cotorro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sein Mendia, 2-2. A collision led to Young AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Patricio Muga hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
