After 17 minutes of play, El Equipo Aurinegro's Ixaka Ubilla made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Esquivel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, El Equipo Aurinegro's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Cotorro came free, but Manolo Orengo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Ixaka Ubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Equipo Aurinegro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ixaka Ubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Clemente Castroverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Cotorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Cotorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Cotorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Orengo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrigai Lino in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Leon Cotorro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Young AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Noguera during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Young AFC booed when El Equipo Aurinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Noguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Castroverde to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, El Equipo Aurinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Castroverde to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Leon Cotorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manolo Orengo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ixaka Ubilla came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the El Equipo Aurinegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ixaka Ubilla couldn't finish the play. Petrigai Lino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Orengo having to interfere. Manolo Orengo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petrigai Lino in the 77th minute. When Belo Ben fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Young AFC's protests and gave Belo Ben a yellow card for diving instead. Ignado Partarroyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xzavier Cuffaro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zenon Cabañas managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Equipo Aurinegro's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Cabañas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Esquivel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belo Ben kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Clemente Castroverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baltasar Esquivel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Young AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ignado Partarroyo hit a great ball. Ixaka Ubilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
