Chesus Manjon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Vila's Ler Zubiaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Agreda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chesus Manjon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nemesio Agreda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodore Fresnos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Orlandus Onterino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Vistruario Olivan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vistruario Olivan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chesus Manjon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Nemesio Agreda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila. Ler Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Agreda having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chesus Manjon in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Agreda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vistruario Olivan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguila AFC's protests and gave Vistruario Olivan a yellow card for diving instead. Solustiano Criales charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Solustiano Criales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aguila AFC's Solustiano Criales got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chesus Manjon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Xuaco Amescua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlandus Onterino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chesus Manjon might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Agreda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chesus Manjon ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodore Fresnos in the 59th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Orlandus Onterino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ler Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Agreda having to interfere. Xuaco Amescua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Onterino having to interfere. Cleto Caniego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Caniego came free, but Orlandus Onterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lekubegi Francos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Vila:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguila AFC:s goal. Helder Bipiana shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cleto Caniego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Onterino having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Ler Zubiaga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nemesio Agreda. 1-2. Vila's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
