Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tanio Dulanto made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Trinidad FC's Caitano Flames got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Esiquio Arrese might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lauro Pedraja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esiquio Arrese ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Capacho's late challenge caught a Atlantida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Capacho helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trinidad FC! The referee gave Atlantida a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tanio Dulanto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trinidad FC's Lauro Pedraja. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Caitano Flames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Trinidad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tanio Dulanto came free, but Lauro Pedraja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bladi Roales struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lauro Pedraja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantida. If Bladi Roales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanio Dulantos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Lauro Pedraja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 20 minutes, Tanio Dulanto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlantida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanio Dulanto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuberoa Vazquez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, one of Atlantida:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlantida. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Trinidad FC. Vergaray Campano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gomesano Meruelo. 1-1. Frascuelo Herdozain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lauro Pedraja firmly grabbed it by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Atlantida's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Espinosa came free, but Gomesano Meruelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caitano Flames in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlantida's goalkeeper Gomesano Meruelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Pedraja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bladi Roales in the 35th minute of play. Zeledon Valli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Esiquio Arrese left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlantida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lauro Pedraja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Urturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caitano Flames made a kick off. If Bladi Roales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gomesano Meruelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Espinosa in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Frascuelo Herdozain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Atlantida's goalkeeper Gomesano Meruelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guter Zugasti. Bladi Roales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Emiliano Urturi made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Pedraja. Trinidad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Bladi Roales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Frascuelo Herdozain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantida's supporters rose to their feet, but Frascuelo Herdozain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Pedraja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Esiquio Arrese notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Trinidad FC's Lauro Pedraja. Lauro Pedraja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frascuelo Herdozain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lauro Pedraja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Pedraja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esiquio Arrese in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Emiliano Urturi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Pedraja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Pedraja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frascuelo Herdozain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlantida's Frascuelo Herdozain got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauro Pedraja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Valli went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esiquio Arrese in the 96th minute of play forced Trinidad FC's goalkeeper Lauro Pedraja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frascuelo Herdozain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lauro Pedraja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlantida had played much better football throughout.
