The goalkeeper, Iparragirre Labarra, was totally fooled by Jimenez's Fernan Paba, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Xaver Ordas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gartxot Buisante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaver Ordas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Zapara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balendin Patiño came free, but Iparragirre Labarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Zapara FC defense, Balendin Patiño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iparragirre Labarra. The Zapara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iparragirre Labarra should have stopped the shot. Angelo Basel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zapara FC! In the 31st minute, Fernan Paba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iparragirre Labarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Xaver Ordas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balendin Patiño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iparragirre Labarra having to make a save. Iparragirre Labarra made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Xacobo Barredo sent off a good shot on target. If Balendin Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jimenez's Balendin Patiño in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zapara FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some careless play in the Zapara FC defense, Erubiel Toledano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iparragirre Labarra. The Zapara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iparragirre Labarra should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Jimenez getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erubiel Toledano hit a great ball. Iparragirre Labarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacobo Barredo in the 72nd minute of the match. Henry Virto's late challenge caught a Jimenez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Virto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Jimenez. Fernan Paba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iparragirre Labarra. 5-0. Xaver Ordas in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gartxot Buisante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapara FC's goalkeeper Iparragirre Labarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Xacobo Barredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xacobo Barredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jimenez fully deserved thier win.
