The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Otoniel Diz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cresenciano Villarinos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 17 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo 's Humberto Pose got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Sauveur Floranes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rumaldo Carreiras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 24th minute, Iigo Fondos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandalio Paracuellos in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ceandro Pato, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Vinolles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gumaro Torices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riachuelo 's Rumaldo Carreiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osasun Lucas in the 33rd minute of play. Vinolles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riachuelo the free kick. After 42 played minutes Vinolles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gumaro Torices. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandalio Paracuellos got free with Ceandro Pato in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Riachuelo 's goal looked a bit too open when Sauveur Floranes came free, but Rumaldo Carreiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Riachuelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pose to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Osasun Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osasun Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rumaldo Carreiras having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Marcelino Greña had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Raul Reboyras fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riachuelo 's protests and gave Raul Reboyras a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Riachuelo got a freekick which was hit by Raul Reboyras. Sauveur Floranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rumaldo Carreiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Sauveur Floranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandalio Paracuellos in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceandro Pato saved Vinolles FC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Riachuelo 's goalkeeper Rumaldo Carreiras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sauveur Floranes. Gumaro Torices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sauveur Floranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinolles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sauveur Floranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rumaldo Carreiras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes of play, Vinolles FC's Gumaro Torices made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rumaldo Carreiras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandalio Paracuellos struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ceandro Pato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo . Sauveur Floranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rumaldo Carreiras having to interfere.
