Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadzio Pelaez got the match started through his kick off. Frantxizko Lizundia charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frantxizko Lizundia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Tacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera FC's zone, Higinio Cascajares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Tacon came out of the goal and Higinio Cascajares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caitano Anduiza charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Higinio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rivera FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fiz Moron hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Tadzio Pelaez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rivera FC's Luciano Tacon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Santxol Longoria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unax Baizan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santxol Longoria in the 27th minute of play forced Zapara's goalkeeper Unax Baizan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pero Trarigo's late challenge caught a Rivera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pero Trarigo helped the player get up and apologised. Pero Trarigo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Zapara's Higinio Cascajares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Tacon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tadzio Pelaez put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Tacon. The supporters of Rivera FC booed when Zapara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pero Trarigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caitano Anduiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Cascajares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luciano Tacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Higinio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Zapara were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Unax Baizan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Vicastillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Nando Cabarcos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapara the free kick. After 60 played minutes Rivera FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Cabarcos. 0-4 became the score in the 62nd minute when Higinio Cascajares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luciano Tacon came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapara's Higinio Cascajares. But to his dismay, Higinio Cascajares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Valerio Vicastillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Unax Baizan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Higinio Cascajares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Cascajares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Higinio Cascajares in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luciano Tacon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Valerio Vicastillo sped through Zapara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Unax Baizan. In the 82nd minute, Zapara's Caitano Anduiza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luciano Tacon. Luciano Tacon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. If Higinio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Tadzio Pelaez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadzio Pelaez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Rivera FC's goalkeeper Luciano Tacon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Cascajares. Rivera FC's Luciano Tacon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Rivera FC from getting a goal against them. Higinio Cascajares got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Luciano Tacon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Zapara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rivera FC.
