The supporters of Zapara booed when Zapican FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaxan Carreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Zapican FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadzio Pelaez came free, but Edorta Barraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Tadzio Pelaez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edorta Barraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Arizabaleta hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zapican FC's Patricio Campon got a free kick in the 14th minute. Higinio Cascajares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edorta Barraza having to interfere. When Tadzio Pelaez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Zapara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadzio Pelaez couldn't finish the play. Higinio Cascajares struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Edorta Barraza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapara. The supporters of Zapican FC booed when Zapara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Cubas didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Zapican FC's Solustiano Teijeira in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Edorta Barraza was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Tadzio Pelaez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadzio Pelaez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Higinio Cascajares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Edorta Barraza made a huge save. Higinio Cascajares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edorta Barraza having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Zapara's Tadzio Pelaez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edorta Barraza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Campon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Zapican FC's zone, Higinio Cascajares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edorta Barraza came out of the goal and Higinio Cascajares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zapara's Tadzio Pelaez in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zapican FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zapican FC's Patricio Campon got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Higinio Cascajares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapara's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Cascajares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edorta Barraza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes, Tadzio Pelaez made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zapican FC's Edorta Barraza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Unax Baizan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Campon in the 71st minute of the match. When Caitano Anduiza came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Zapara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caitano Anduiza couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Tadzio Pelaez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edorta Barraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Cascajares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pero Trarigo's late challenge caught a Zapican FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pero Trarigo helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Zapara got a freekick which was hit by Pero Trarigo. After a rather tough play, Zapican FC's Lizbeth Pages got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Higinio Cascajares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zapican FC's Edorta Barraza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaxan Carreira's late challenge caught a Zapara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaxan Carreira helped the player get up and apologised. If Patricio Campon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zapara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zapican FC for a fine match.
