The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaskon Perma the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Graffolitas F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaskon Perma had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Harkaitz Gambo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Graffolitas F.C's zone, Timo Clavell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Riancho came out of the goal and Timo Clavell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guipuzkoa Illera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leoiar Roda to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Errando Valbaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Graffolitas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendoza the free kick.
