Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xayveon Morquecho made the kick off which started today's match. Milio Inestrosa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Harkaitz Gambo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Mathey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weather Santirso in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Weather Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mathey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendoza's Ariel Mathey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weather Santirso in the 12th minute of play. When Basajaun Urrea came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mendoza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basajaun Urrea couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Mendoza's Zuri Heras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ariel Mathey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Peñalba in the 19th minute of play. Ricart Peñalba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Zuri Heras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricart Peñalba in the 27th minute of play forced Mendoza's goalkeeper Ariel Mathey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weather Santirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Mathey having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Leoiar Roda fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 37 minutes, Zuri Heras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mendoza and the Defensa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Zuri Heras. Ricart Peñalba took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Mathey. Ariel Mathey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basajaun Urrea got free with Xarles Arruta in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Defensa's Xarles Arruta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Xarles Arruta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jatsu Alire went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Xayveon Morquecho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Mathey came out and tried to block the shot, but Xayveon Morquecho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Ricart Peñalba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Velasco Sieira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Harkaitz Gambo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xarles Arruta skillfully saved the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Mendoza's Jatsu Alire made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xarles Arruta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Defensa's Xarles Arruta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoiar Roda in the 78th minute of play. Ariel Mathey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricart Peñalba in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Leoiar Roda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xarles Arruta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Leoiar Roda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendoza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensa the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Mendoza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoiar Roda to maneuver through the defense. Basajaun Urrea scored 4-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xarles Arruta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Artemio Castelao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Mathey made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ricart Peñalba sent off a good shot on target. In the 95thth minute of the game Xayveon Morquecho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendoza's Ariel Mathey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Mendoza's Ariel Mathey got control of the ball when Ricart Peñalba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
