Padro Darraña was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zuri Heras kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Quintana's Ioritz Zaldos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hurko Reynoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leoiar Roda in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Mendoza getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Zuri Heras hit a great ball. When Padro Darraña came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Quintana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Padro Darraña couldn't finish the play. Ariel Mathey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virila Corral in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virila Corral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Virila Corral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ariel Mathey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hurko Reynoso made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Basajaun Urrea sent off a good shot on target. If Leoiar Roda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Virila Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Padro Darraña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mathey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Mathey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virila Corral, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Leoiar Roda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
