Urdin Labora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Manuelo Moran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Memento mori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapuente the free kick. Hilario Aristeguieta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Urdin Labora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javiar Hesles in the 19th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Memento mori's Feliciano Moreno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Feliciano Moreno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Memento mori protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Feliciano Moreno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Memento mori! Hilario Aristeguieta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Urdin Labora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gandarias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urdin Labora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gandarias in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Xilo Avecilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Hilario Aristeguieta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Memento mori's Urdin Labora. Urdin Labora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Lapuente defense, Cordarrol Amezua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Txaran Liaño. The Lapuente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txaran Liaño should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes of play, Lapuente's Javiar Hesles made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urdin Labora was left in no man's land by his defense there! Socorro Antoñana charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Socorro Antoñana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Socorro Antoñana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Urdin Labora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javiar Hesles went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Lapuente's Txaran Liaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lapurdi Calzada in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Memento mori's goal looked a bit too open when Javiar Hesles came free, but Urdin Labora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urdin Labora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javiar Hesles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lapuente's Hilario Aristeguieta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Urdin Labora but with some difficulty. Urdin Labora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javiar Hesles in the 93rd minute of play. The Memento mori supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lapuente's performance. The match ended with a win for Lapuente.
