The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quintana's Alfredo Bettencourt suffered a concussion after 2 minutes and had to leave the field. When Paulo Iranzo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graffolitas F.C's protests and gave Paulo Iranzo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Graffolitas F.C getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Paulo Iranzo hit a great ball. When Jonathan Mirueña fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graffolitas F.C's protests and gave Jonathan Mirueña a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Mirueña kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Leandro Riancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Padro Darraña in the 10th minute of the match. Jonathan Mirueña hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Leandro Riancho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Emperanza went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leandro Riancho came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Quintana's Padro Darraña. But to his dismay, Padro Darraña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 25 minutes, Padro Darraña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Padro Darraña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Narciso Emperanza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Emperanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Graffolitas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Mirueña. In the 39th minute, Padro Darraña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Palmero charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Palmero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Graffolitas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Palmero to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Jeronimo Lamboy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Riancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Gian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Riancho. Graffolitas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Gian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Quintana were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guipuzkoa Illera to strike the kick off in the second half. If Guipuzkoa Illera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Riancho made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Padro Darraña sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Graffolitas F.C's goalkeeper Leandro Riancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Padro Darraña. Padro Darraña in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leandro Riancho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Graffolitas F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Narciso Emperanza scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Riancho, making the score, 0-4. 73 minutes into the match, Padro Darraña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Riancho, 0-5. Bernat Arripe hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Ioritz Zaldos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Riancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Emperanza got free with Leandro Riancho in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Graffolitas F.C's goalkeeper Leandro Riancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Padro Darraña. Graffolitas F.C's Leandro Riancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Graffolitas F.C from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Narciso Emperanza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintana's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Emperanza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Riancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Lamboy in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Riancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Quintana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Graffolitas F.C throughout the match.
