To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Saiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Odilon Pubill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Saiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 22 minutes on the clock, Sasoin Rebolloso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Sasoin Rebolloso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Odilon Pubill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Senin Pariente in the 24th minute. Gentza Tomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Saiz in the 61st minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Odilon Pubill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odilon Pubill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Saiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Senin Pariente's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senin Pariente helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Niubels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Senin Pariente to maneuver through the defense. Oliveiro Sominaya took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Cubero. Uriel Cubero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Tohias Robira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Nacional booed when Niubels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Lizarazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niubels were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
