With an all-out effort, Volveremos a la brevedad's Odilon Pubill threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barros Albar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Teofilo Laspron got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barros Albar in the 18th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Odilon Pubill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Nacional's Oliveiro Sominaya made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervaso Cadiñanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Odilon Pubill came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Volveremos a la brevedad's Felix Aya. But to his dismay, Felix Aya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Odilon Pubill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Aya. The Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Nacional's Oliveiro Sominaya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oliveiro Sominaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervaso Cadiñanos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Gervaso Cadiñanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tohias Robira in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Oliveiro Sominaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveiro Sominaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervaso Cadiñanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervaso Cadiñanos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Frichoso Guibar. But to his dismay, Frichoso Guibar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 43rd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tohias Robira to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Aya got free with Odilon Pubill in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliveiro Sominaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oliveiro Sominaya scored 2-4 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervaso Cadiñanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliveiro Sominaya hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Tohias Robira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tohias Robira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervaso Cadiñanos having to interfere. Odilon Pubill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Pizaño in the 74th minute of the match. Ricardo Lezama's late challenge caught a Volveremos a la brevedad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Lezama helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Volveremos a la brevedad booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Lezama didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Olivar Simon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Odilon Pubill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nacional's Oliveiro Sominaya in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Nacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
