Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Latorre FC's Fraco Bailey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gentza Tomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Barambio having to interfere. Ismael Barambio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donato Saiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Latorre FC's zone, Donato Saiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Barambio came out of the goal and Donato Saiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Donato Saiz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Niubels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Saiz couldn't finish the play. Donato Saiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ismael Barambio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Latorre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Agudo to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Barambio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Saiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cruz Lavet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Niubels fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Latorre FC. Bladi Farran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uriel Cubero. 1-1. When Gonzalo Lizarazu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Niubels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Lizarazu couldn't finish the play. Donato Saiz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ismael Barambio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niubels. Tebaldo Dosal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Barambio having to interfere. Uriel Cubero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Laurencio in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Donato Saiz made the kick off in the second half. Mano Laurencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Uriel Cubero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Oxarra Caceo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Cubero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Latorre FC's Fraco Bailey in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Uriel Cubero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Latorre FC's Fraco Bailey got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Niubels's goalkeeper Uriel Cubero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oxarra Caceo. Fraco Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Uriel Cubero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donato Saiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uriel Cubero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraco Bailey in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Osoitz Sopena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Latorre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The throw-in from Michael Agudo in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Niubels's Bruno Regueiro. In the 85th minute, Donato Saiz made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Barambio. Latorre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Tebaldo Dosal charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tebaldo Dosal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute Fraco Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Cubero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tebaldo Dosal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Latorre FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Niubels's much stronger midfield.
