Fraco Bailey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Pellin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Vinicio Rozas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Marcos Sabuco hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The long shot by Bladi Farran in the 11th minute really tested Mariano Pellin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oxarra Caceo in the 13th minute of play forced Dragons's goalkeeper Mariano Pellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Latorre FC's goalkeeper Ismael Barambio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dragons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Fraco Bailey scored to the left of an out of position Mariano Pellin, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Dragons getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marcos Sabuco hit a great ball. Dragons's Mariano Pellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraco Bailey in the 28th minute of play. Mano Laurencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Pellin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mano Laurencio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Thomas Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thomas Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Thomas Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Barambio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fraco Bailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mano Laurencio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mariano Pellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latorre FC. Thomas Aguilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Barambio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fraco Bailey in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Pellin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oriol Gigante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ismael Barambio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Latorre FC's Fraco Bailey got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Latorre FC's Osoitz Sopena got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thomas Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ismael Barambio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mano Laurencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Thomas Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Aguilar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Dragons defense, Fraco Bailey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Pellin. The Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Pellin should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Fraco Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Pellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
