It was beautiful to see CERRO LARGO F.C.'s Herminio Adán in action when he in the 33rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Valiente Azaceta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marques Villaboa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valiente Azaceta got free with Odilon Pubill in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Oliveiro Sominaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elmo Nø was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Nacional were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveiro Sominaya was the one to do the kick off. Bertran Garate kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Renzo Orihuela hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tohias Robira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Nacional's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, CERRO LARGO F.C.'s Elmo Nø got control of the ball when Oliveiro Sominaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Valiente Azaceta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CERRO LARGO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. After 65 played minutes CERRO LARGO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Valiente Azaceta. Nacional's Frichoso Guibar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elmo Nø but with some difficulty. Teofilo Laspron kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Odilon Pubill came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO LARGO F.C.'s Valiente Azaceta. But to his dismay, Valiente Azaceta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 77 minutes of play Nacional's Teofilo Laspron was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Laspron to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Lezama to maneuver through the defense.
