The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venerando Ladrada was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, one of Garrapiñada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garrapiñada. 12 minutes into the match, Garrapiñada's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Pando came free, but Gwidon Bartochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Viera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arias Salablanca in the 16th minute. When Tomass Fafinski fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nando's protests and gave Tomass Fafinski a yellow card for diving instead. Tomass Fafinski hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nando's Marquez Llago got a free kick in the 19th minute. Arias Salablanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Nando got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Llago. Gwidon Bartochowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Pantoja in the 37th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Garrapiñada's Arias Salablanca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexis Viera. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. Arias Salablanca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexis Viera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Clodio Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arias Salablanca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexis Viera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arias Salablanca in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Garrapiñada were awarded a corner. Clodio Acuña went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Clodio Acuña got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexis Viera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marquez Llago hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Alexis Viera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Salablanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Garrapiñada's Clodio Acuña got a free kick in the 57th minute. Nando's Casomiro Irazu was substituted for Marquez Llago. Gwidon Bartochowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Casomiro Irazu. 62 minutes into the game, Juan José Serrizuela threw the ball into play from the sideline. Garrapiñada's Fermin Veguri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 63 minutes into the match, Nando's goal looked a bit too open when Clodio Acuña came free, but Alexis Viera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Viera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Salablanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lazaro Mendi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 77 minutes into the match, Garrapiñada's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Pando came free, but Gwidon Bartochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dale Pando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwidon Bartochowski was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, Nando was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan José Serrizuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Arias Salablanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Viera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Christian Di Paolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garrapiñada and the Nando players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Garrapiñada getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Christian Di Paolo hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Justin Vegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 97 minutes, Casomiro Irazu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casomiro Irazu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Garrapiñada manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nando to win.
