After a rather tough play, COVIMT 10 F.C's Pitin Tamaron got a free kick in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Vitoria during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Vancouver FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Vitoria. COVIMT 10 F.C were furious when Uriel Traves was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in COVIMT 10 F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Sandaili Acebero shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 21st minute Modestio Martines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Tsamis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Vitoria in the 26th minute of play forced COVIMT 10 F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Tsamis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uzuri Marquina's late challenge caught a Vancouver FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uzuri Marquina helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, COVIMT 10 F.C's Uzuri Marquina got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hulberto Arizabalo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Sandaili Acebero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Tsamis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oscar Pool hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thomas Tsamis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Izquierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Ciriaco Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Tsamis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Vitoria to make the kick off. With his leg Thomas Tsamis managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Vancouver FC's Ciriaco Izquierdo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Vancouver FC booed when COVIMT 10 F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Pool didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Tsamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Vitoria in the 57th minute of play. Thomas Tsamis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Izquierdo in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriaco Izquierdo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Tsamis. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donald Fleur in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesaro Cascallana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. COVIMT 10 F.C were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Vancouver FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hulberto Arizabalo took the corner. After 66 played minutes COVIMT 10 F.C got a freekick which was hit by Donald Fleur. In the 70th minute of the match, Teodoro Vitoria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomas Tsamis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Vancouver FC's Jordy Viera got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Hulberto Arizabalo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesaro Cascallana skillfully saved the ball. Teodoro Vitoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thomas Tsamis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, COVIMT 10 F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Vitoria came free, but Thomas Tsamis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Vancouver FC's Modestio Martines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Tsamis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Tsamis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modestio Martines in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modestio Martines got free with Thomas Tsamis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
