Lopes Avendaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Alcantara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medardo Laurenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Lopes Avendaño sped through Cortume's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mark Alcantara. Lopes Avendaño kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Cortume's keeper Mark Alcantara was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lopes Avendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, one of Echevarria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Echevarria. Esquipula Betolaza had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Jose Dagora's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Jose Dagora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esquipula Betolaza came out and tried to block the shot, but Jose Dagora slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lopes Avendaño in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Alcantara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Cortume's goal looked a bit too open when Lopes Avendaño came free, but Mark Alcantara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lopes Avendaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Alcantara having to interfere. Gora Montarco kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Admon Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Alcantara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mark Alcantara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lico Rigual's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Lopes Avendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Echevarria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
