In the 7th minute Lopes Avendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Tian Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elija Maiz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Admon Cabral was slow to take the kick. During this time Echevarria's players had a chance to rest. After 35 played minutes Echevarria got a freekick which was hit by Pellas Meldasgoas. Pellas Meldasgoas stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of El Pinar's defenders and the ball went out. Echevarria appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gergori Herenchun during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Pinar booed when Echevarria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergori Herenchun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esquipula Betolaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebano Lecanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Echevarria's Rocendo Fornell got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esquipula Betolaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Süreyya Uzer's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Süreyya Uzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esquipula Betolaza. Echevarria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süreyya Uzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Estebano Lecanda scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esquipula Betolaza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lopes Avendaño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Lecanda got free with Esquipula Betolaza in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Echevarria's Esquipula Betolaza got control of the ball when Estebano Lecanda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Admon Cabral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ni Tian Peng. El Pinar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Fredrik Holden got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esquipula Betolaza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Estebano Lecanda in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Esquipula Betolaza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Toma Merlushkin scored 0-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esquipula Betolaza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estebano Lecanda took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esquipula Betolaza. After some careless play in the Echevarria defense, Estebano Lecanda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esquipula Betolaza. The Echevarria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esquipula Betolaza should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Süreyya Uzer put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Esquipula Betolaza. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Pinar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
