Inge Careaga hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Anselmo Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I. D. Alianza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortume the free kick. In the 71st minute, Anselmo Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Cortume's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Rajah came free, but Mark Alcantara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quilo Senties, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Alfred Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Poling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Alcantara having to interfere. Mark Alcantara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clive Rajah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quilo Senties in the 87th minute of play forced I. D. Alianza's goalkeeper Ronaldo Pozuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tiago Orcondona came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cortume fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Orcondona couldn't finish the play. Alfred Poling did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Mark Alcantara 92 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Quilo Senties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I. D. Alianza's Ronaldo Pozuelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The I. D. Alianza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing I. D. Alianza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
