The crowd rose to their feet as I. D. Alianza's Alfred Poling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esquipula Betolaza. That made the score 4-5 after 87 minutes of play. Clive Rajah's late challenge caught a Echevarria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clive Rajah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, I. D. Alianza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Rajah to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Echevarria lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
