The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Orcondona got free with Xiao Galaz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cortume's Tiago Orcondona got a free kick in the 11th minute. Xiao Galaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Orcondona in the 14th minute. Xinto Ocaña's late challenge caught a Cortume's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xinto Ocaña helped the player get up and apologised. Xinto Ocaña hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Xiao Galaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atarrabi Najera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After 29 played minutes Cortume got a freekick which was hit by Quilo Senties. Hijo de Mil's Xiao Galaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atarrabi Najera in the 32nd minute of play. Xiao Galaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atarrabi Najera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Cortume was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quilo Senties to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Orcondona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xiao Galaz having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Gora Montarco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xiao Galaz. Hijo de Mil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gora Montarco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ceferino Vasaburu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atarrabi Najera kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hijo de Mil's Ceferino Vasaburu got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Gora Montarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Ceferino Vasaburu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Xiao Galaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atarrabi Najera, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Cortume's Mark Alcantara got control of the ball when Ceferino Vasaburu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cortume's Tiago Orcondona got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Cortume's Atarrabi Najera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xiao Galaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 85th minute, Adrian Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xiao Galaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Orcondona in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Orcondona in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xiao Galaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gora Montarco in the 93rd minute of play forced Hijo de Mil's goalkeeper Xiao Galaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tiago Orcondona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Cortume were the better team. Cortume's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
