Tobias Basante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otoniel Rafecas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes Paysandú FCU got a freekick which was hit by Napier Puget. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otoniel Rafecas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Basante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saturnino Velasquez got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With his leg Eneko Edeon managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when C.A. Torque's Andre Pariente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bertol Alais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Eneko Edeon made a huge save. Bertol Alaiss short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Eneko Edeon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
