Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Walter Corbou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Prus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Corbou. Ferro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Prus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Ferro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Krygsbak to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Prus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Corbou. Dagoberto Prus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Egana AFC's Goiz Rio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Walter Corbou had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dagoberto Prus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Corbou came out and tried to block the shot, but Dagoberto Prus slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Ferro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Krygsbak to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Goiz Rio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Corbou. The goal made the score 4-0. 37 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Prus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Corbou. Dagoberto Prus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Ferro's Walter Corbou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ferro from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Egana AFC booed when Ferro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ondino Arzola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dagoberto Prus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Prus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Corbou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goiz Rio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Walter Corbou made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Goiz Rio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Goiz Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egana AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goiz Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ferro getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ondino Arzola hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Pierre Krygsbak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Corbou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goiz Rio in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Goiz Rio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Corbou was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 68 minutes into the match, Ferro's goal looked a bit too open when Goiz Rio came free, but Walter Corbou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Nowak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Walter Corbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goiz Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Goiz Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egana AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goiz Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goiz Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Walter Corbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urtun Mieses during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There was no doubt that Egana AFC were the better team. Egana AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
