Cássio Arantes ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Paso de la Arena's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierre Navia came free, but Victorino Qwinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Urrejola shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 23rd minute, Nuno Urrejola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Urrejola charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Urrejola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Paso de la Arena got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Urrejola. Ramiro Arin made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cássio Arantes. In the 34th minute of the match Paso de la Arena got a corner. Wazalendo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nuno Urrejola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paso de la Arena's Nuno Urrejola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikolas Freije in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Olayo Jauregui kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ramiro Arin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paso de la Arena booed when Wazalendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Satordi Carabajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Paso de la Arena players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wazalendo were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gutierre Navia was the one to do the kick off. If Gutierre Olarria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Osorio Massey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso de la Arena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Garcia Llanderas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolas Freije having to interfere. Wazalendo's Gutierre Navia got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gutierre Navia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Wazalendo got a freekick which was hit by Cesaro Cugurulls. When Gutierre Navia fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wazalendo's protests and gave Gutierre Navia a yellow card for diving instead. Satordi Carabajo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Wazalendo's Mikolas Freije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osorio Massey in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Satordi Carabajo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wazalendo's Satordi Carabajo got a free kick in the 96th minute. Although Paso de la Arena had been in control for most of the match, Wazalendo still came away with the win.
