In the 9th minute of the match, Arif Ensar Rafiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tonio Dueñas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 11th minute, Defensor Sporting Club's Desiderio Santiago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tonio Dueñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Ensar Rafiz in the 17th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Lizardi Abraldez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Soriano FC and the Defensor Sporting Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Academia Soriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lizardi Abraldez to maneuver through the defense. Tonio Dueñas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Roldan in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Soriano FC's goalkeeper Tonio Dueñas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Defensor Sporting Club's Felix Roldan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tonio Dueñas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Larra Conti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Golaki Era saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Academia Soriano FC's Ryan Bullan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Academia Soriano FC's Tonio Dueñas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Soriano FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Roldan got free with Tonio Dueñas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Ryan Bullan made a precise shot to the right of Golaki Era. Defensor Sporting Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Ensar Rafiz in the 41st minute of play forced Academia Soriano FC's goalkeeper Tonio Dueñas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonio Dueñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Roldan in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Defensor Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Felix Roldan.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Roldan was the one to do the kick off. Tonio Dueñas came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Defensor Sporting Club's Arif Ensar Rafiz. But to his dismay, Arif Ensar Rafiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Academia Soriano FC's Lizardi Abraldez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tonio Dueñas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Defensor Sporting Club booed when Academia Soriano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lehoi Corton didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Roldan in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tonio Dueñas saved Academia Soriano FC from getting behind. Arif Ensar Rafiz scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tonio Dueñas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Arif Ensar Rafiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Dueñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lordi Ascazua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Golaki Era tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Felix Roldan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tonio Dueñas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Larra Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Felix Roldan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Soriano FC's Tonio Dueñas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Academia Soriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Roldan came free, but Tonio Dueñas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Bullan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Golaki Era made a huge save.
