But to his dismay, Eleazar Aguinaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vicemte Laviada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Bielatowicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronaldinho Berria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rios Carrion in the 35th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicemte Laviada to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Fray Bentos F.C.'s Mendebal Movilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herbert Bielatowicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fray Bentos F.C. reached it. A hard shot by Eneko Feyjo from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Ronaldinho Berria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rios Carrion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Ronaldinho Berria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eleazar Aguinaco hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Indalecio Madrid charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Ronaldinho Berria managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when LOS PICAPIEDRAS's Rios Carrion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute Eleazar Aguinaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Berria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fray Bentos F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
