With his leg Alvarez Orol managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Montevideo City F. C.'s Zuriko Rincon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zuriko Rincons short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Alvarez Orol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alvarez Orol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Burgoa in the 11th minute of the match. Adriano Alemparte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the C.A. Pikachu defense, Sauveur Hinojos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvarez Orol. The C.A. Pikachu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvarez Orol should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Montevideo City F. C.'s Adriano Alemparte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvarez Orol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zuriko Rincon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Alemparte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alvarez Orol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Eugenio Burgoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alvarez Orol, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City F. C.'s zone, Faustino Vivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tercero Lizundia came out of the goal and Faustino Vivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Alemparte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvarez Orol was a little too slow when Zuriko Rincon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 42nd minute Fernanco Bolivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tercero Lizundia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zuriko Rincon came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Montevideo City F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuriko Rincon couldn't finish the play. Adriano Alemparte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvarez Orol having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Zuriko Rincon made the kick off in the second half. If Adriano Alemparte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Tiburcio Muxi made a precise shot to the right of Alvarez Orol. C.A. Pikachu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 69 minutes into the match, C.A. Pikachu's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Burgoa came free, but Alvarez Orol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Burgoa scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvarez Orol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuriko Rincon in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvarez Orol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Pikachu's zone, Tiburcio Muxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvarez Orol came out of the goal and Tiburcio Muxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. Pikachu's Ado Nogro got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Zuriko Rincon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvarez Orol was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuriko Rincon in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvarez Orol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvarez Orol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zuriko Rincon's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Kelemen Hevia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvarez Orol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Alemparte in the 96th minute of play forced C.A. Pikachu's goalkeeper Alvarez Orol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montevideo City F. C. fully deserved thier win.
