Reimundo Paba was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Agustin Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Golaki Era was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Reimundo Paba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Felix Roldan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Reimundo Paba made a huge save. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Defensor Sporting Club's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines.
