One of Atlas f.c.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter de Millán:s goal. Atlas f.c.:s Americo Tarrats showed great skill when he stopped Gonzales Bono:s penalty. Machado Alderete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Tarrats having to interfere. In the 26th minute Machado Alderete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Tarrats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luzea Beneit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erruki Aumada having to interfere. Americo Tarrats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urki Benitua in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Millán's zone, Ladio Folgueral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erruki Aumada came out of the goal and Ladio Folgueral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Inter de Millán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duardo Mendizabal to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
