Reyes Canelones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YORUGUA F.C the free kick. The supporters of YORUGUA F.C booed when Reyes Canelones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanchez Enterria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iraitz Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elija Encinas in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Reyes Canelones FC got a freekick which was hit by Quin Quadros. Ihintza Riguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mincho Freixes having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Nardo Cebollero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iraitz Baena. Reyes Canelones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nardo Cebollero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ezequiel Alamon charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Alamon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Reyes Canelones FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ezequiel Alamon hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nardo Cebollero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Transito Ungia made a precise shot to the right of Mincho Freixes. YORUGUA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Nardo Cebollero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Baena having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Reyes Canelones FC got a freekick which was hit by Monte Zubizarrieta. Reyes Canelones FC's Ihintza Riguero got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ihintza Riguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mincho Freixes having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Monte Zubizarrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nardo Cebollero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Iraitz Baena made a huge save. Mincho Freixes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Transito Ungia, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Reyes Canelones FC's Transito Ungia in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YORUGUA F.C's goalie prevented a goal. When Ihintza Riguero came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Reyes Canelones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ihintza Riguero couldn't finish the play. Reyes Canelones FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of YORUGUA F.C for a fine match.
