But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerardo Bueno couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Luchito Toni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lertxun Moraina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lertxun Moraina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sun Han hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luchito Toni sped through Peñarol For Ever FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lertxun Moraina. Luchito Toni scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lertxun Moraina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second Arturo Balendin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Emanuel Arzallos in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luchito Toni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Peñarol For Ever FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Emanuel Arzallos hit a great ball. Lertxun Moraina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luchito Toni in the 54th minute of play. Lertxun Moraina was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Luchito Toni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luchito Toni really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Arturo Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gasteiz Candura, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Balendin Velicia kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Hector Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Filip Hernström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lertxun Moraina. Peñarol For Ever FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peñarol For Ever FC's Lertxun Moraina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Duardo in the 83rd minute of play. Lertxun Moraina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Chicago. 95 minutes into the game, Nueva Chicago's Luchito Toni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lertxun Moraina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Nueva Chicago's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
