The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Club YALE's Xepe Balcells got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Bueno Bonito y Barato defense, Xepe Balcells kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Policarpio Cevallo. The Bueno Bonito y Barato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Policarpio Cevallo should have stopped the shot. Policarpio Cevallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Guiluz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Wilfredo Buisante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club YALE's Odilón Guardas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Odilón Guardas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Buisante's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Odilón Guardas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Buisante in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odilón Guardas saved Club YALE from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Miguel Guiluz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Policarpio Cevallo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Xepe Balcells notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Bueno Bonito y Barato's Policarpio Cevallo. Policarpio Cevallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Bueno Bonito y Barato defense, Xepe Balcells kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Policarpio Cevallo. The Bueno Bonito y Barato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Policarpio Cevallo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Buisante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bueno Bonito y Barato's goalkeeper Policarpio Cevallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Locaio. 54 minutes into the match, Xepe Balcells dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Policarpio Cevallo, 0-7. Wilfredo Buisante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Odilón Guardas having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Viviano Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Locaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Policarpio Cevallo made a huge save. After 74 minutes, Xepe Balcells made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Bueno Bonito y Barato's Policarpio Cevallo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club YALE's Xepe Balcells got a free kick in the 77th minute. Odilón Guardas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Buisante in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Bueno Bonito y Barato's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Balcells came free, but Policarpio Cevallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Locaio got free with Policarpio Cevallo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club YALE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
