Fausto Raposo came out of the goal and Guipuzkoa Ocariz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Arteson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 53rd minute, Vasco Erosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Etxeberri Iruz sped through El Semillero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eudoxio Badas. Fausto Raposo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santutxo Averasturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Adriano Periceira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Carolino de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Periceira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 minutes of play, Club Carolino de Fútbol's Etxeberri Iruz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eudoxio Badas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasco Erosa during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Semillero's Vasco Erosa got a free kick in the 75th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Trancoso couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Adriano Periceira had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Club Carolino de Fútbol's Claudinei Gual was substituted for Adriano Periceira. The supporters of Club Carolino de Fútbol booed when El Semillero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tirso Lezana didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Etxeberri Iruz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eudoxio Badas saved El Semillero from getting behind. It was beautiful to see Club Carolino de Fútbol's Odon Bermudo in action when he in the 93rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 95 minutes, Etxeberri Iruz made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Semillero's Eudoxio Badas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
