Spectators: 9199 (Terracing: 6901, Seating: 2115, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leocadio Teja got the match started through his kick off. Guipuzkoa Velamines came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Artigas's Florentino Fidalgo. But to his dismay, Florentino Fidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Florentino Fidalgo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SAS's Guipuzkoa Velamines. Guipuzkoa Velamines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guipuzkoa Velamines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leocadio Teja in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Leocadio Teja came free, but Guipuzkoa Velamines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Florentino Fidalgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guipuzkoa Velamines. SAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Fidalgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Caetano Esquide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furtado Codina having to interfere. Guipuzkoa Velamines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leocadio Teja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Saturnin Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guipuzkoa Velamines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Leocadio Teja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAS's Guipuzkoa Velamines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes, Caetano Bebias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the Artigas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Caetano Bebias hit a great ball. Guipuzkoa Velamines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Fidalgo in the 24th minute of play. Florentino Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAS's Guipuzkoa Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Celino in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Florentino Fidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guipuzkoa Velamines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Inocencio Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Celino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SAS's Caetano Bebias got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Caetano Bebias off the ground. After a rather tough play, SAS's Caetano Bebias got a free kick in the 40th minute. Guipuzkoa Velamines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leocadio Teja in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Santio Tarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Leocadio Teja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Guipuzkoa Velamines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artigas made a substitution. Lia Engraba replaced Leocadio Teja. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lobo Hornos was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lobo Hornos during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artigas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
