Chacarita FC's Cecep Budiarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Drâmba in the 11th minute of play. Chinto Arrillaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mingo Camporredondo having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match, Chinto Arrillaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mingo Camporredondo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paavo Real sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Fiz Ibarrola got a free kick in the 17th minute. Mingo Camporredondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chinto Arrillaga in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chacarita FC defense, Gabirel Chapital kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecep Budiarto. The Chacarita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecep Budiarto should have stopped the shot. Res Non Verba played a much better game than Chacarita FC and deserved their victory. The Chacarita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
