An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herbella in the 45th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primo Valcarcel to maneuver through the defense.
