An unexpectedly hard shot by Bladi Cavallosa in the 22nd minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Carqueja made a substitution. James Lucena replaced Sandaili Trevijano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elizardo Massana to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Mario Vielva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Jack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Mario Vielva in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliverio Cavallosa in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jackson Jack saved Pichincha Sporting Club from getting behind. Jackson Jack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elizardo Massana, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jackson Jack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Vielva in the 65th minute of play. Jackson Jack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enmanuel Herdozain in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Pichincha Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Vielva came free, but Jackson Jack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Zotillo in the 88th minute of play forced Pichincha Sporting Club's goalkeeper Jackson Jack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Enmanuel Herdozain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jackson Jack. Pichincha Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enmanuel Herdozain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jackson Jack came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carqueja's Tiago Zotillo. But to his dismay, Tiago Zotillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, Pichincha Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elizardo Massana came free, but Jackson Jack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
