The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 12 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Freddi Clavijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Vielva. When Fear Of The Dark's Roberto Kante in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carqueja's goalie prevented a goal. Freddi Clavijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Vielva in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Kante in the 21st minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddi Clavijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverio Cavallosa in the 25th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Guzman came free, but Cordairo Segura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Afonso Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fear Of The Dark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oliverio Cavallosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Guzman to make the kick off. Meendez Aleso kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Mario Vielva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddi Clavijo skillfully saved the ball. Alexander Hinz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Freddi Clavijo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Carqueja's Elizardo Massana. But to his dismay, Elizardo Massana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fear Of The Dark made a substitution. Kirun Lisandri replaced Agustín Álvarez. Freddi Clavijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizardo Massana in the 67th minute of play. Joeri Wijkstra charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joeri Wijkstra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Fear Of The Dark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carqueja:s goal. Freddi Clavijo had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mario Vielva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Cavallosa came free, but Freddi Clavijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Vielva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Fear Of The Dark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Guzman to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Zotillo came free, but Freddi Clavijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Carqueja's Tiago Zotillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddi Clavijo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fear Of The Dark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Vielva was slow to take the kick. During this time Carqueja's players had a chance to rest. Mario Vielva made a great header on Carqueja's corner, it was just that Fear Of The Dark's Freddi Clavijo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 89 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Mario Vielva. Afonso Guzman scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cordairo Segura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Vielva came free, but Freddi Clavijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Carqueja's Enmanuel Herdozain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddi Clavijo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Tiago Zotillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Zotillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carqueja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
