Koen Rijmenams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Herbella's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Bidun Deleyto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Robustiano Peruanton took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Weather Piedrahita. Weather Piedrahita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortun Corrillos in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Atletico Maturrango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rik Quexada who took care of the corner kick. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Koen Rijmenams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Herbella in the 31st minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Florencio Herbella dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Koen Rijmenams, 1-1. Koen Rijmenams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Herbella's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Florencio Herbella took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koen Rijmenams. After a defensive mix-up in Oylimpiamos Ψ's zone, Florencio Herbella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koen Rijmenams came out of the goal and Florencio Herbella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Peruanton to make the kick off. Florencio Herbella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koen Rijmenams read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Bidun Deleyto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oylimpiamos Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Maturrango the free kick. After 56 played minutes Oylimpiamos Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Bidun Deleyto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Peruanton in the 66th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Oylimpiamos Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bidun Deleyto to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Ederono Ojero replaced Florencio Herbella. Weather Piedrahita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregory Neila in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Ederono Ojero came free, but Koen Rijmenams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
