Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Zuazna in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Wawro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Burgo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Weather Piedrahita saved Atletico Maturrango from getting behind. In the 18th minute of the match Kwyjibo got a corner. Atletico Maturrango's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bahadırhan Yiğithan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kwyjibo's Bahadırhan Yiğithan to fire away a dangerous shot which Weather Piedrahita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Ybarbo in the 22nd minute of play. Sylwester Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Zuazna in the 23rd minute of the match. Alfonso Grassi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Ybarbo in the 46th minute of play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 53rd minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Christian Burgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kwyjibo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kwyjibo's zone, Florencio Herbella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Wawro came out of the goal and Florencio Herbella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Herbella to maneuver through the defense. Weather Piedrahita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Burgo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Christian Burgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kwyjibo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
